It is good to be back at Brooks-Carter again. I have been in practice for 20 years, six of those in Brooks-Carter at Ellon Road with Maggie and as a lecturer and tutor at Scottish Massage Schools.
My Goal is to help you manage or alleviate pain and symptoms and restore function, assisting you to get back to normal as quickly as possible. Sessions are a combination of techniques and approaches such as Orthopaedic or Sports Massage, and I specialise in desensitisation of sensory nerves, pain education and intrinsic movement-based treatments. All sessions are tailored to suit your needs and presenting symptoms.
Anatomy in Motion (AiM) is an understanding of biomechanics, helpful in re-establishing muscle function, joint planes of motion and body awareness. Easily incorporated into sessions where a specific range needs to be regained or as a more dynamic stand-alone session. AiM is a method to reconnect and establish lost function. “Motion is lotion” as they say.
